These are all members of the national — indeed, international — dulcimer community. Just as we have come together to support our teachers and performers  during the pandemic, let’s do the same with these folks.

NEW HARMONY DULCIMER COMPANY was established in 2013 by Rick Huffman and Rick Gooden, and is dedicated to producing exquisite instruments of superior design and craftsmanship meticulously handcrafted from the finest woods. Our approach to constructing dulcimers is truly unique and focused entirely upon allowing the instrument to produce the richest fullest tone with best intonation possible. We offer a variety models with vibrating string lengths from 24” to 26” to accommodate all players. We also have baritone, bass, and chromatic dulcimers available, and can custom build instruments to meet the needs of any player.

DulcimerCrossing provides online instruction for all levels of mountain and hammered dulcimer players, with additional instruction for chromatic mountain dulcimer, dulci-bro and fiddle. The filmed lessons are available 24-7 for the convenience of our students to learn from the comfort of their home. We are undergoing reconstruction for our 10th Anniversary in order to upgrade our offerings. Today we will include a behind the scenes "hard-hat" tour.
